Individual Psychotherapy
A safe, judgement-free space to explore your thoughts and emotions and to find your strengths
Sometimes life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but you can regain a sense of control and re-discover your purpose. I provide adult and adolescent clients with the support and tools they need to find their inner strengths and to overcome obstacles getting in the way of progress and fulfilment.
Clients I work with are often experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, work-related or relationship stress, trauma, or grief. Taking an empathetic and collaborative approach, I tailor my clients’ counselling experience to their unique needs and circumstances. I am trained in and use evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help develop emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help to productively adapt to challenges and develop greater flexibility, and Narrative Therapy to help clients gain greater agency over their lives.
I work with clients to help them achieve:
Greater emotional resilience and flexibility to navigate life's ups and downs.
Improved relationships through enhanced communication skills and healthier boundaries.
Stress and anxiety management.
Self-exploration into personal values, goals, and strengths.
A renewed sense of agency in positive personal development.
You can expect collaboration and compassion as we work together to develop a customized therapeutic experience that meets your unique needs and goals. I offer clients a judgment-free and confidential environment both in-person and online to explore their thoughts and feelings and to build a stronger foundation for the future.
